He combines a stacked pedigree for a Dorset with the show ring "look" (he didn't want to cooperate for pictures, but he's young and didn't know any better so don't hold that against him). He's made dead level, with a wide hip and a giraffe neck. Sire is a Turtle Mead ram we bought last year, and have been very happy with his first lamb crop. Dam is a home bred ewe sired by Wolkow R453 (triplet to R450) and out of a Sugarloaf ewe. Dam was a successful show lamb for us, winning her class at Minnesota State Fair FFA and her twin carried on the family tradition winning reserve Dorset ewe in the State Fair 4-H show as a yearling - both their pictures are included. Her length, depth, and soggy middle may obscure some of her extension in print, it is there! Check that fleece box with assurance, she is fine! A March yearling that already punches 35.5 X 37.5.
