Comments: After much debate and consideration, and in honor of Lot 1 in last year's online sale, we have decided to make this lamb Lot 1 in our sale this year. Last year Lot 1 was a killer ram lamb that was extremely popular with everyone that came to view the sheep in person. He sold for $7,000 and went on to be champion ram at NAILE in Louisville for Nichols. They named him "Whiskey Talkin" and all the reports we've received say he has turned into quite the yearling ram! This ewe lamb is not only a rock star on her own merits, but she is also a full sister to "Whiskey Talkin" This lamb is ready for the showring now and has every indication she will keep coming for a long time. From her feet and legs to her extended front and from her long top to her level hip, she is fun to look at. Every year in our online sale we try to make a splash and this is how we wanted to lead the sale this year. There is no point in being subtle or sugar coating it, this lamb is pretty special! His daughters have also proven to be good mothers and excellent milkers. In regards to this exceptional son of "TD", we have a lot of confidence in the breeding behind this ram! Comments: Very similar pedigree to our yearling ram entry Lot 2. We mentioned already that we were not as long on females as some years and we refuse to put animals in our sale that are "just sheep". We want everyone to be excited to get these sheep in their barn. So, we just put in one spring yearling ewe but we think she is pretty strong. As hot as the Dorset breed is right now, we wish we could offer more just like her! Anytime we combined the "Rumble" line with "Samson" it always turned out well and that's what we have in this ewe's mother Spilde 8972.

Comments: We can't overstate the power and elegance that is combined in the lambs by "Come Back"! The female side on this ewe lamb brings in both "Jordy" and "Indiana Jones". That's a lot of skeletal frame size genetically and look at the design in this lamb. It is hard to let her go, but as we state every year...if we can't put good ones in, we will not have a sale.
